Extreme LEP flashlight
The NlightD X1 is touted as the farthest-reaching LEP flashlight available, boasting an impressive output of 7,000 lumens, which is significantly higher than most LEP flashlights that typically produce under 300 to max 1,000 lumens. The package includes the flashlight itself, eight 21700 batteries, a battery carrier, a shoulder strap, a USB charger, and a hard case for storage. The X1 is designed for professional use, such as by search and rescue teams and firefighters, and features a unique design with two handles for easy operation and a focusable beam that can adjust from a wide flood to a tight spotlight.
The flashlight’s body is made from A6061-T6 aluminum alloy, designed to withstand drops, and features a toggle switch for locking and unlocking the light. However, the beam adjustment mechanism is pretty stiff, and requires a full 360-degree turn to switch between flood and spot modes.. booo
The X1 can also work with just four batteries, but using all eight provides optimal performance. The built-in USB-C charging system has been reported to have issues with battery balancing, which can be resolved by removing the reverse polarity protection washers, although this may void the warranty.
While the X1 delivers impressive beam distances, with up to 4,600 yards with plenty of cooling, or 2,800 yards in normal conditions. The advertised lumen output are exaggerated. Despite these quirks, the NlightD X1 is considered a powerful tool for those needing extreme throw capabilities, making it a formidable option for professionals who can manage its limitations.
