The Metal Lancer (Weltool W35 LEP)
It was only a matter of time before the first Weapon Mount LEP was produced. And the honor goes to Weltool. After producing some very successful handheld LEP flashlights, the W35 is designed for weapon use.
In reality, the W35LEP is actually the earlier announced LH3 LEP head with a dedicated 18350 body. The reason for choosing this battery type must be the dimensions. A 18350 battery is about 30mm shorter than a 18650 battery, and therefore a 3 centimeters shorter flashlight.
But even with a length of only 131mm, you get a reach of almost 900 meters (or 1000 yards). That is the farthest reaching mini flashlight there exists.
Batteries and Charging
I can be very short about this part. The battery (not included) to use with this light is a 18350 lithium-ion battery. When you order this flashlight at Weltool, you can order the Weltool UB18-12 battery, which has a capacity of 1200mAh. If you rather want to use a 18650 battery tube, you better get the LH3 head instead.
At the moment of writing this, Weltool hasn’t added the W65 body yet, but it does refer to this body in the description of the W35. So I am pretty sure we will soon see the W65 on their website. 18650 battery can have up to 3 times the amount of capacity of a regular 18350 battery.
